Sabrina Ionescu spoke at the Kobe and Gianna Bryant memorial service yesterday in Los Angeles paying tribute to her late friends. She hopped on a plane northwards to Palo Alto, California in time to be with her Oregon teammates playing against Stanford. Later that night, Ionescu achieved a historical milestone versus the Stanford Cardinal in becoming the first NCAA D1 player, male or female, to have 2000 points, 1000 rebounds, and 1000 assists in her NCAA career on that emotional day in the #1 Oregon's 74-66 win over Stanford. Not to mention her 26th career triple double. Obviously dedicated her win and performance to Kobe. I'm picking the Ducks to win it all this March and April--and certain #1 WNBA pick:

Sabrina Ionescu's teammate junior Satou Sabally declares herself WNBA Draft-eligible after this season. Her Gambian family's finances are a major reason why:

Also congrats to Baylor head coach Kim Mulkey in becoming the fastest D1 coach to get 600 wins in just 20 years at it on an average of 30 wins per season. She got it on No. 2 Lady Bears' 77-62 victory over Texas Tech on Tuesday night in Lubbock, Texas. Mulkey again is a Naismith Hall of Fame finalist. She should get enshrined this year with another title under her belt:

The 2021 NCAA Women's Final Four San Antonio logo was unvieled that UTSA will host. The Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners women's basketball team helped present last week. No Alamo present this time but the Texas lone star was:
