Placing suspicious packages under Tom Ugly's bridge does that as well.

I get both sides of the story, but for SL players, you should play a few games, or atleast be nominated on a team ffs.

    Haha.

My post was in relation to this.

A fisherman found it, shat himself, and threw it on the land under the bridge before calling the cops. Quite funny. I was actually talking to Michael Carayannis when this got called in.

I did hear at one point that the Panthers might be looking at adding a SL mens team also. I take it that fell to crap quicker than their SL womens team?

Stylin, how is your team going? same squad or new additions?

grub, how are you guys looking?

Yep... Penrith's loss should be Springwood's gain on both counts.

Ben Arkell & Michael Bell have been named in the Ryde Bulls team as expected:

(A few former Horsby players in there as well)

Speaking of Hornsby, I'd heard that they wouldn't be having a SL team this year since their WCL team fell apart but then I heard that not many of last season's SL guys were keen to step up to WCL so they might just stay in SL. Either way, only one senior men's team & one YL team for next year.

From what I have heard some of their SL team have gone up to CL and therefore have no been able to get bodies for a SL season.

Completely different! Might be lucky to have 3 familiar faces there. A big change has happened and a lot of guys have turned their back away from it.

Would it have been different if you had been accepted into WCL?

Whats happening at ctown seniors has pretty much none of the ex SL players returning. None of us are involved with the change, it has nothing to do with ex players at all. So most have parted and wont be playing except local comp. Its coming from YL and a few other guys trying to make changes for the future of the association to make things bigger.

So nothing to do with ex players from previous years.

The idea of watching Steve Lemon playing like a hack for 39 minutes would be enough to make me walk away as well.

From what I've heard, Hennessy is back to coach and has brought Rory Sutton and Frank Meredith with him, plus a junior Noah Cleur.
Did they come back under the promise of WCL and if so, will they all stay on in SL?
How do they fit into this change you're talking about and will Steve Levin bother to hang around for SL?

Frank and Rorey are both Macarthur / Ctown juniors. So good to have them back. Not exactly sure whats happening now that ABA isnt happening.

Speaking with a few of the boys they are loving the new system and training is harder then ever. If they continue this im tipping them to have a very strong year and finals weekend for sure!

From what I've heard, Hornsby SL will be similar with only a few changes from last year & none of last year's WCL players are playing for Hornsby this year (there could be 1 or 2 more from earlier years though).

The final roster is still not settled at Macarthur, from what I hear, with a couple of recent departures.

On other teams, still no news from the Blaszczynski Brothers in WCL - is it possible they may end up at Ryde WSL with Ben Arkell?

Springwood have benefitted with at least one former Panther for 2012 but otherwise the roster looks very familiar.

The push for a Springwood Women's team also may have stalled, following recent decisions by a couple of likely players to not pursue this option.

Any trial games coming up for any of the Sydney Metro teams?
