Thread: R3 - Perth v Sydney Fri 24/10

  1. #1

    Default R3 - Perth v Sydney Fri 24/10

Last time it was Ennis v Young. This time its Daniels v Childress.

4th tier has been opened up again, meaning over 12,000 should be in the house.

Looking forward to seeing how we defend Childress and what he brings.

Wildcats looking to continue on to 15 wins in a row over Sydney since they re-entered the league.

    Jervis out?
25 seasons as a Wildcats member.

The Kings offence does a good job of defending him. Anything your guys do will be a bonus

Um, girls, I think your voodoo dance is probably wasted at this point. I feel the Kings may end up needing a bigger blackout curtain at the SEC. What an embarrassment.

I can't ever remember seeing a point guard demolished like that before.

Childress deserves a few games for that hit. What a disgrace.

Missed the game and just checked the box score - Martin with 9r 8a 9s, was his performance as amazing as it sounds?

Didn't know moving screens ( with a leading shoulder in the mush for good measure) was allowed under FIBA rules... or is that just in Perth?
    See what happens.

Not a lot in what Wagstaff did mate come on... Childress decided to get back up and lunge at him like a predator hunting it's prey.

Just when you think the bar couldn't possibly be set any higher for defence ... that was just insane by Damo tonight.

thats the way i saw it too. but nothing will happen to wagstaff.
was it blood on childress' mouthguard as he walked out of the gym or does he have a two colour mouthguard.
either way i thought the game was poorly managed by the refs

While Childress' reaction was way over the top ... it sounds like that that screen was the last straw. From what both ch10 comms were saying ( & it was even your boy more so than our Steve) ... he'd had had enough of being hacked.

Yeah I don't understand why it doesn't happen more often...Oh yeah cos most players can play through it and are smarter.

Joe, you've far exceeded Bouncer or LC now. Childress hit a hard screen (he would've hit dozens of harder ones in the NBA) and reacted like a *******.
