The semi-finals leave us with Townsville and Melbourne battling it out for the WNBL championship; Townsville are looking for their third title in four seasons, whilst Melbourne is looking to hoist the trophy for the first time since the 2010/2011 season, back when they were still Bulleen.

This week! It’s WNBL Grand Final week and I preview game 1 of the championship series. Plus the NBL now has a definite top-four and a definite everyone-else; I review week 13’s games and gloat about my tipping.

The Fire and the Flames, between them, have won the last three WNBL championships. After meeting in last year’s semi-finals, the two teams will do battle again in a three-game series starting on Thursday night.
The irresistible force (Perth’s offence) meets the immovable object (Melbourne’s defence) in the first semi-final series starting on Wednesday.
