What's the Olympics like as far as illegal streams go?

I'm looking for similar. I am in China and trying to find a way to watch.

Probably a bit on FTA here but I can only take so much table tennis and diving.

Got streams , but they're choppy.

Ok if anyone cares VIP seems like a really good option. Boomers look great and watching them with actual informed commentary feels a rare treat.

    * By "informed" I mean, not the usual deadbeats we trot out.

What is VIP? The commentary on the channel 7 on-demand stream is atrocious. I'd prefer to listen to Gaze and Casey, but I'm relying on internet streams, so not willing to guess which live channel stream might be showing snippets of coverage.

As the Rio 2016 basketball standing stand now, the Boomers will face Spain the QFs with their 4-1 group play record.

One more match to go - if Lithuania beat Croatia, Boomers play Argentina. If Croatia beat Lithuania, Boomers will play Lithuania. 2 very tough scenarios. For all the positive play we've shown so far, if we go out in the next game, and don't at least make final four to play off for a medal, its a big letdown.

Who do we match up better with? Lithuania or Argentina?

I think its like saying would U rather be attacked by a shark in the ocean or a crocodile in a swamp haha Not too sure on matchups, but Croatia has just beaten Lithuania, so we have Lithuania locked in first up, then winner of Croatia v Serbia in a potential semi. At least we avoid USA and Spain who are now both in the other half of the draw.

Rather be attacked by a shark to be honest

Ok so Lithuania obviously have Valanciunis which will be a good matchup with Bogut... really hope we can get over the line against them.

Yeah this is it! Thursday 10pm in Perth I believe. Win this and worst case we play off for Bronze. Lose and most would feel its a lost opportunity. They killed our medal hopes in 1996 and 2000 in the bronze medal games.

I reckon Id rather go the Croc avenue. I think their teeth are slightly less sharp than a shark's and in a swamp you may have more chance to get away and scramble to land hahaha https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...5154133AAf2PcN

But sharks are known to bite, not like the taste and leave you alone... Crocs do that deathspin thing... haha

Back on point - 10PM is a decent time if it actually is the case... be amazing for us to have a chance at a medal...

Without a doubt this is the best Boomers Olympics team ever. Even if they finish 4th like in 1988, 1996, and 2000 (really should've medalled in the last two). Now with the serious perennial Olympic medal contenders Opals (as well as other Australian Olympic team sports like the Hockeyroos, Kookaburras, and Stingers) shockingly and sadly out, it's the Boomers who must fly the team sports flag in medalling with women's rugby 7s.

    GO BOOMERS!

Problem is, Spain's up next now. Not as loaded this time as Marc Gasol's out. But still very formidable with their experience in gold medal games in London and Beijing. It'll be more of a challenge here.

If by Spain you mean Serbia or Croatia then yes.

I, like many of us here, just want them safely in the gold medal game.

Well given they wont have to play Spain unless Spain can knock off the US, you shouldnt have to worry

Croatia v Australia is what its looking like for next round.

That was a great game for us. The only way it could have been better was if Croatia managed to force an OT. Lots of fouls and lots of physicality on the floor in that game could be an advantage to the Boomers in the semi-final.

Id have preferred Croatia as Serbia will be better for their recent loss against us I think. Plus Croatia is ranked beneath us. But anyway, big game to come. Raduljica and Teodosic I think are the guys most likely to cause us issues. We only really blew them out at the end of the pool game.

Will be telecast at 6am Saturday morning in Perth, 8am in the east.
