    Default Brisbane Bullets 2016/2017

The first two signings confirmed for the new era:
    Adam Gibson
    Daniel Kickert

I'm also tipping Anthony Petrie has also signed. Great signings - Kickert was outstanding last season and this fresh start should see Gibbo return to his best form. It looks like Goulding will remain with United if Europe doesn't pan out. If the Bullets fill all of their import slots(which they've stated) this team looks very competitive already. Exciting times....

I've heard Nick Kay's name as one bandied about.. Could he be a 5 option for the Bullets?

Intrigued to see which positions the imports will play. I presume Richard Clarke's going to use the same scouting service he used at the Breakers, in which case the imports will be well-heralded.

Two more signings to be officially announced tomorrow. Logic would suggest Petrie and Craig.

How can Jervis sign with another club when the NBL free agent list says that he is contracted and option taken?

Who giva dung shit about contracts? Do you think you can stop someone from breaking their bloody contract? Besides, no coach would like to work with any player who is not interested to play for his team anymore.

guessing we agreed to let him go, so we can sign Knight or something.

I heard Marvin said it was going to be tricky to keep Knight, this might have made some room.

After Motum and going with 3 imports, something had to break for the Wildcats.

That's why I am asking, did he actually take the option year of the contract? Did Martin and Wagstaff also take the option on their contracts as the free agent report said they have?

The wildcats have released this today:

    http://www.wildcats.com.au/featured-...sbane-bullets/

    Which says:

Jervis, who has played 97 games for the Wildcats, this week decided to take up an offer with the revitalised Brisbane Bullets franchise thereby foregoing his player option for the third year of his contract.
Which suggests he turned it down, so is the FA list incorrect?

Very disappointing that Jervis has left.

He is a very good back up and an invaluable insurance policy against Knight's injuries.

Jervis is a fringe starter, not a starter @ the Cats due to personnel but can easily start in at least half the league's teams.

Now its on the cats to come up with another trick out of the hat.

Where did Nick talk about that? I've not heard anything about Motum or them definitely going with 3 imports.

Ive not heard anything about Motum but I have heard Nick mention they would more than likely look to fill the 3 import quota in a previous news article.

Have heard Tom was free to sign wherever he wanted and didnt need to negotiate any type of release from any contract, so perhaps the FA list was incorrect.

According to the twitter (I think ATF?) the Free Agents list was wrong...

The Bullets certainly fixed their rebounding issue with Jervis and Peach coming on board...
